The Humanitarian Revolution
With the defeat of the Taliban regime in Afghanistan much focus has
been placed on the Islamic Republic as the next target. The Islamic
Republic of Iran is responsible for supporting terrorist activities
and carrying out inhuman torture methods upon peaceful opponents of
the regime.
Secretary-General of the United Nations, Mr. Kofi Annan, recent visit
to Tehran and his comments towards the Islamic Republic has only
strengthen the hands of the Islamic forces and has added a serious
blow to the peaceful Student Movement in Iran. Much shame must be
placed on subjects cooperating with the Islamic Republic through
civil dialogue. The idea of civil dialogue with such an inhuman and
torturous regime is unquestionably intolerable.
The Student Movement in Iran will not defeat simply by the hands of
foolish dialogue. Nor will our freedom-loving movement be defeated by
military intervention. We condemn military assault. Our movement is
Civil Disobedience.
We, the Iranian Student Movement, do not posses weapons, however we
posses unity. We, the Iranian Student Movement, do not cheer death to
anyone, however we cheer justice and equality. Our bodies are filled
with blood; blood that is crying for freedom and secular democracy.
To the World Nations seeking military intervention for Iran, we the
Iranian Student Force call for peace and a Humanitarian Revolution.
Today, and for the past 23 years, there exist a strong Opposing Force
to the Islamic regime. This Opposing Force needs the fuel of the
World Nations.
We, the International Alliance of Iranian Students, call for the
International World's unconditional support in overthrowing the
inhuman theocratic Islamic regime of Iran. We of IAIS request support
in establishing a secular and democratic regime in Iran based on
popular vote under international observations. We of IAIS request
support in completing the popular call for referendum in Iran. This
is the Humanitarian Revolution, and on behalf of the freedom-loving
people of Iran, we of IAIS request your aid and cooperation and
dialogue.
