How about Palestine?
Well IRI lobbyists try to distract us by telling Iranian-Americans to think of
US-IRI relations rather than thinking of the pro-democracy movement of Iran
which is to replace the IRI with a secular democratic republic when we are in
the midst of one of the greatest pro-Democracy movements in our history which
needs the support of every Iranian abroad.
The ones who try to solve Palestine-Israel issue, distract us in another way.
Should we condemn Sharon's atrocities? Sure we do. Should we condemn Yasser
Arafat's incompetence? Maybe we should. But really even US with all its might
cannot go and make decisions for them and solve their problems. They have to do
it themselves. What can we do? Can we go and choose a different leader for
Palestinians? Can we go and impact the elections in Israel? Or they want to get
us involved in US-Israel and US-Palestine relations just like they want to get
us involved in US-IRI relations, which I already wrote is distraction for us
from our duty of supporting our pro-Democracy movement that needs our full
focus.
What can Iranians do except to sympathize with the difficult situation of the
Palestine-Israel conflict? Let's see what we can do for our own problems? The
IRI apologists are the first ones spreading the pictures of the Palestine
everywhere on Iranian boards to distract the attention from IRI and they are
doing it in the name of humanity. I have not seen any of them to ever post the
pictures of sangsar in Iran or the executions or slaughter of our dissidents. So
it tells me they are not genuine.
