Shabe Sher, New York, WED, JuLY 10, 7:00-10:00PM

(Second WEDNESDAY of Every Month)

Hello All:

With much appreciation to the Bowery Poetry Club, we have been moved up to “prime time.” Shabe Sheer will now be held regularly during the second WEDNESDAY of every month from 7:00 to 10:00 pm (instead of the second Tuesday of every month). Please make a note of this change. The next Shabe Sher will be held on Wednesday, July 10th from 7:00 to 10:00 pm.

Also, in the interest of remaining appealing, lustrous and not too predictable, we have decided to introduce some new, refreshing elements into our program. Based on your feedbacks via email from you, going forward we have decided to format our program in the following fashion:

7:00 – 7:15 Introduction

7:15 – 7:45 Performing Arts (musical recitals and vocal performances)

7:15 – 8:00 Intermission

8:00 – 9:15 Lecture by Guest Speaker

9:15 – 9:30 Intermission

9:30 – 10:00 Open Forum--pre-scheduled poetry recitation by audience members

To the extent that some of you would like to recite your favorite poems during the last 30 minutes of the program, please email us the following information:

1. The name of the poem

2. The name of the poet who authored the poem

3. The time you require to deliver the poem

4. The name of the individual who is delivering the poem (with respective title)

In other important news:

It gives us great honor to report that Time Out New York will print a blurb or two on the Shabe Sher family in its next issue.

We look forward to seeing all of you at the next event,

Shabe Sher
