In his book Dr. Ganji, former Minister of Education of Iran examines in detail how the 1979 revolution was consummated, and what it has meant to Iranians and the rest of the world. Dr. Ganji, as a resistance leader shows how the democratic opposition has made steady progress over the years. He portrays the mullah regime in Iran as the incubator of international terrorism, a gross and systematic violator of human rights, bankrupt and alienated from the Iranian people. He calls upon the United States government to formulate and carry out an effective and sustained policy of support for the freedom and democracy movement in Iran. Dr. Ganji asserts that today the mullah regime’s rule of force and deception is increasingly tenuous, while the United States is becoming increasingly popular in Iran.
